Putin nuke threat is ‘hissy fit’ after being snubbed for Queen’s funeral, expert says

EXCLUSIVE: Vladimir Putin was among the very few world leaders not to be invited to the Queen's funeral - and just two days later he he's thrown a nuclear "hissy fit"

Vladimir Putin's latest threat of nuclear Armageddon has been described as a "hissy fit" by a defence expert after the Russian despot was not invited to the Queen's funeral.

This morning (Wednesday, September 21) Putin announced the "partial mobilisation" of some 300,000 reservists in what was a major escalation of his invasion of Ukraine.

Putin also said Russia "will certainly use all the means at our disposal" in response to what he dubbed "nuclear blackmail" from the West and those trying to "subjugate" Russia, including "neo-Nazis" in Ukraine.

"This is not a bluff," he claimed.

Putin's comments - in what was his biggest speech since the invasion began in February - come after he was left off the invite list for the Queen's funeral on Monday (September 19).

Although the snub was hardly a surprise, invites were extended to the likes of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Even North Korea was invited to send a delegation.

More still, Putin was among the first world leaders to send his "deepest condolences" to King Charles following what the Russian described as a "heavy, irreparable loss".

According to Professor Anthony Glees, a world-renowned defence expert from the University of Buckingham, that message was a "sign of weakness" from Putin.

Speaking about Putin's non-invite and subsequent nuclear threats, Professor Glees told the Daily Star: "He's like the school bully who's not been invited to the party, trying to oil his way in.
"Had he had this latest hissy fit before the ceremony, he'd obviously have ruled himself out of an invite."

Professor Glees also described Putin's speech this morning as "just threats, threats, threats" and urged the West to continue support for Ukraine, despite the spectre of World War Three looming a little larger than it 24 hours ago.

‘immoral’ where drunken people have any gender they want, Ugandan Festival !

'Immoral' Uganda festival where drugged-up revellers have all the sex they want

Thousands gathered on the banks of the Nile for the infamous Nyege Nyege music festival, which had been slapped with an attempted "immorality" ban - but the new rules backfired

A festival in Uganda garnered attention after it was claimed the four-day bonanza "promoted sex, homosexuality and drug use".

The infamous Nyege Nyege music festival had been slapped with an attempted "immorality" ban - but, much to the relief of organisers, the new rules only made party-goers curious and caused the hedonistic event to sell out.

British attendee David Kempson told news outlet Agence France-Presse (AFP): "I learnt about the festival when the government of Uganda banned it on claims it was promoting immorality.

"It is my first time in Africa. I didn't expect this much, the huge fan presence, the greenery, the waterfalls and hospitality."

Kempson isn't the only one who travelled the world just to attend the party - 5000 foreign tourists joined the 12000-strong crowd for four days of sex, drugs and rock and roll on the banks of the river Nile.

Nyege Nyege roughly translates to "an irresistible urge to dance" in the local Luganda language - however in other languages in the region the phrase has a more sexual connotation.

One attendee, describing the festival's healing vibe, said: "When I come for Nyege Nyege, I become free, I meet people from all over Africa and beyond, we laugh and dance, stress goes away."

The event's co-founder Arlen Dilzanian said that "no evidence of sex orgies have been adduced by anybody making the allegations", but the festival continues to have a seedy reputation and is tightly monitored by security.

Information Minister Chris Baryomunsi earlier warned the festival would be shut down if there were serious breaches of the ban such as "sex orgies and nudity".

This is the second time a strict ban on immoral behaviour has been imposed on the festival - the first time was in 2018, when when Uganda's former ethics minister Simon Lokodo, a vocal homophobe, called the event an orgy of homosexuality, nudity and drugs akin to "devil worship".

On both occasions the ban failed to take hold thanks to public outcries on social media.

However this time the prohibition ended up being a great form of publicity for the festival, with some attendees telling AFP they had only heard about the event because of the ban.

"We are headed for a much bigger number (that) we never anticipated," Dilsizian told AFP.

And now the festival is set to go global thanks to the success it has enjoyed in Uganda.

Sex addict who slept with more than 700 men prowled for random guys at supermarkets

Ex-The Bachelor Australia star and sex-addict Belinda 'Love' Rygier always had sex on the brain and would be constantly hunting for her next tryst - even when stocking up at the supermarket

A recovered sex-addict who has slept with 700 men has said she would go cruise for guys at every possible opportunity, including prowling for random guys at the supermarket.

At the height of her addiction ex-The Bachelor Australia contestant Belinda 'Love' Rygeir, said sex was "constantly at the top" of her mind - even when she was doing her weekly shop.

She told MailOnline: "I would be grocery shopping and would think to myself, 'Oh, I wonder if he would be interested?'"

Belinda also said her addiction strained friendships as when she was on a night out, she would ditch the girls so she could prowl for conquests.

She said: "I was never self-aware. The minute I was out, I was like, 'Where's a hot guy?'"

During her sex-crazed years, Belinda slept mostly with men, but also slept with women on occasion.

She thought the idea of a man up for blowing up his his marriage to be with her was "quite thrilling" and so was also the other women "a couple of times" which she now regrets.

The TV star said she wasn't proud of this, adding: "When things are driving you so badly, you're willing to hurt other people. That was probably my lowest point."

However, Belinda's absolute rock-bottom was when one of her lovers became violent with her, gave her a black eye, pushed her down the stairs and locked her in the garage so violently she thought she had broken her hand.

After the harrowing incident, Belinda began to see a therapist who helped her unpick the root of her compulsive behaviour and address the problem.

"That [incident] was my turning point. I thought, 'I have to help myself," Belinda said. "That's where the journey began, and it was a very quick transformation. Once you decide [to change], it happens very quickly.

"Having a coach that called me out and held me accountable made me dig deep. I didn't ever know I had sex addiction until I healed my trauma.

"Sex is the only addiction I fell for because it was making me feel loved. Love is really what I lacked in my life."

Having overcome her addiction, Belinda now helps others overcome theirs through healthy relationship boot camps, where participants work at understanding their character flaws and relationship styles.

She said: "You have to heal the hurt, love yourself, understand your attachment style and love language to heal."
